August Arace Project Management Profile

  • PROJECT MANAGER
  • The project manager for a project will be selected prior to bid time. He will be involved with the estimate, and will then have the total responsibility for the project after its award. The project manager will operate from the home office.

 

  • PROJECT SUPERINTENDENT
  • The project superintendent will be on site full time, and will be responsible for the project on a day to day basis. He will organize, coordinate, and supervise our field forces, shop forces, and subcontractors utilized on this project.

 

  • DRAFTSMAN - CADD OPERATOR
  • The draftsman will be responsible for all of our piping shop drawings, and coordination with all other trades. He will layout all piping systems, and break them down into fabrication sketches, if required.

 

  • OFFICE CLERK (FIELD CLERK) (If Required)
  • The office clerk will be responsible for all of the necessary paper work which will be generated from the jobsite.

 

  • GENERAL FOREMAN
  • The general foreman will be an August Arace regular pipefitter or plumber, who will have full control of the installation of the piping systems under the direction of the project superintendent.

 

  • FOREMAN
  • The foreman will control areas under the direct supervision of the general foreman. The number of foremen will be determined by the number of areas that can be worked in an efficient manner. Foreman will be added or deleted as required. The foreman will be full time August Arace employees.

 

  • FABRICATION SHOP GENERAL FOREMAN (If Required)
  • This general foreman will be responsible for receiving, unloading, storing, inventory and fabrication of all material for piping sketches developed by our draftsman or by the field. He will be responsible for tagging and shipping the material to the site as required. He is also responsible for the fabrication quality control and testing (if required at shop), of the fabricated material.

 

  • ENGINEER
  • The engineer will be utilized to check and submit all shop drawings for equipment needed for this project. He will also be utilized by the project superintendent for any problems which require engineering and equipment commissioning.

 

  • HOME OFFICE
  • The home office (estimating, purchasing, accounting) will assist the project manager in all activities as required.
